Come to the free public opening reception for the “116th Annual Student Exhibition,” one of PAFA’s most highly-anticipated events of the year! #ASE2017
The “116th Annual Student Exhibition” (ASE) features works by PAFA’s BFA students, third-year and fourth-year Certificate program students and MFA candidates, showcasing artistic styles that fuse traditional skill with contemporary vision. This long-standing tradition offers students the opportunity to curate, install, and sell their own works in PAFA’s galleries, and is one of the most celebrated student group shows in the country. “ASE” has been a PAFA tradition for over a century and is the culminating event in the academic calendar.
Tickets are available for the Preview Party, hosted by the Women’s Board at PAFA: May 11, 4 – 9 p.m.
From the bad brains behind Dead Flower’s Circus-Sideshow comes a mind melting, art installation without one vision but many. Art Without a Message is an open ended creative collaboration for the masses. The ingredients are performance art + visual art and everything in between. We give Philadelphia artists a space to create and then we all see what happens.
Hosted by Dead Flower’s veteran funny grrrl, Aliya Strychnine.
Join us for multi-media art extravaganza with no boundaries!
